What if...

I have started a new thing and I am LOVING it.

What if I mixed and matched different parts of my patterns? Use different techniques and ideas on other patterns...

I am having the BEST time. Meet Clyde and Florence.

Clyde, part of the Whimsy Bunny Collection, is sporting beaded boots that is from the Modern Vintage Doll Pattern. He is also fashioned from satin, which adds all the glamour a bunny could ever hope for. On a side note... satin was a tad miserable to work with and definitely only applicable to decorative doll, as washing Clyde may not be the easiest task. However miserable the process of slippery satin was, I am still enamoured with him and will most likely willingly subject myself to the fickleness of satin again.

Dear Florence. She is soft, vintage and regal all at the same time. I used all vintage or up-cycled fabrics for her, with exception to her wool hair (which is sustainable sourced the Mohair and More, refer to this POST for more info). Her legs are made with a floral motif vintage cotton and embellished with pompoms on her toes. Her dress is the bottom of a dress that had long lived passed it years and was full of tears. The fur cowl... I think I need one.

I absolutely LOVE using vintage fabrics for the Whimsy Doll. I inherited flour sacks from my Grandma Birdie and they make the most beautiful doll base - I only have 2 left! Yikes! Why can't flour be sold in cloth sacks again?

What if... I am excited to keep going with this! I want to see what YOU make if you play this game...
