Doll Photoshoot

I am ever so slowly working my way through my patterns and refining them. I can't tell you how much joy they bring me in the midst of learning to live in a renovation house. Everything around me is chaos and my doll-making gives my mind something to fall into.

On the upside of a reno house - subfloors make for great studios! I had to slap on a fresh coat of paint before the shoot and we were ready to roll.

On the downside, but not actually, it really hit me this shoot just how grown up my Pippa is. Sigh. These moments were the main reason I left my full-time job designing at Charmed Playhouses & Resorts - I knew when I looked back none of it would be worth it if I didn't spend these golden years creating with my kids. I know I am 100% right.

On a side note… the younger model is my niece, the older is my baby, Pippa. I feel very lucky to have ample nieces and nephews to model for me.
