This pattern has been on my mind for about 3 years. I had envisioned it accompanied with the Bird Hat in a Partridge variation... Needless to say, the partridge must wait, but the Pear has finally debuted!
And it is stinking ADORABLE. I added eyelashes to the pattern using the same technique that I used for the whiskers in the Whimsy Cat Pattern. I don't know if I can ever do eyelashes another way! I MUST design a doll with long floaty eyelashes.
