DIY Felted Wool Doll Hair

Needle felting is my absolute favourite method for attaching doll hair! Anyone who knows me, will attest to the ‘sewing on yarn’ method is my very least favourite…. that is for another day.

There is something so rewarding about the repetitive action of needle felting and watching it come to life before your eyes. The more you do it, the more you can shape and create the doll’s hair to match whatever you fancy!

A NOTE…. I do recommend wearing protective glasses while needle felting. Once, only once, I had a needle break and fly up and hit me just millimeters from my eye…. YIKES. Since then, I don my old people reading glasses whenever using the fiery little needles.
