The Quilted Bag Sewing Pattern

Years ago, I thrifted a quilted bag.

It has been my handy companion ever since and let me tell you… the amount of compliments I receive on my dear quilted bag is astounding.

Unfortunately, I have used that bag to literal shreds. Only one option remained… sew a new one!

In the process of designing the pattern, I ended up with 3 sizes. As I relentlessly surveyed the best size with anyone that would listen to me, it quickly became apparent that all three were the perfect size for different people. I prefer the middle size - just like mama bear in Goldilocks.

So ALL three sizes are included in the pattern. I used Liberty of London Tana Lawn and Indian Hand Blocked Fabric for the samples - such dreamy fabric!

The pattern is currently under scrutiny from my trusty pattern testers and should be released in January 2026! I will keep you posted!
