Well, it’s about darn time…

I decided to try living slow for awhile - at least through December and into January while the kids were home for the winter break. It some ways, the slowness was DELIGHTFUL. I read a lot of books and actively pursued a restful mind. You could say I was almost zen.

However, it also started to feel a wee bit stagnant. A little empty.

I LOVE making and creating things. And I love sharing them with others even more. While the ease was restorative, it also highlighted just how much making is part of my being. I cannot truly rest without having a project tickling my brain and making my fingers itch.

I could not resist using Liberty of London Tana Lawn Fabric for a few of the bags. It really is the most exquisite fabric! Quilting fabric works delightfully well, too!
