Sigh. It’s been on my mind for about 6 years…. Pippa’s name means ‘love of horses’ - she obviously NEEDS a horse and the living, breathing kind is not an option… This pattern wheedled its way into the queue when Pips decided to be the most adorable cowgirl for Halloween and I am so glad it did!💕

Plus…. I tried something new! Growing points for me - you know, get out of your comfort zone and all that…

One of my favourite makers @amie.makes tested the pattern for me! I have never formally had a pattern tester before… In the past, I have felt too shy and silly to ask for others to use my pattern and offer feedback - I feel like I am causing someone stress or taking up too much room… you know, those same messages we blindly carry around without being the wiser most the time…

All that to say… I am so GRATEFUL and DELIGHTED with the experience. Goodness, what a difference it makes to have feedback! I am not sure if I could do it any other way now.
